Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd is seeking an experienced National Operations Manager to oversee nationwide projects from design through installation. You will coordinate design, manufacturing and installation activities, work closely with clients and site teams, and ensure programmes and deadlines are met across the UK.

The role requires strong leadership, sharp organisational skills, and a deep understanding of construction/MEP systems, health & safety, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations or project management in construction or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MEP/HVAC or fire-rated systems.
• Strong delivery, installation and site operations understanding.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Coordinate design, manufacturing and installation activities.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers and site teams to meet programmes and deadlines.
• Oversee project schedules, resources, logistics and installation teams.
• Attend client and site meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements including CDM regulations.
• Maintain documentation such as risk assessments and method statements.
• Monitor installation quality and compliance with fire safety standards.
• Resolve client queries, variations and contractual issues.
• Coordinate multiple installation teams across the UK.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships and high customer satisfaction.

Our client is a leading provider of fire protection solutions, specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-performance fire protection systems for various industries.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of nationwide projects involving the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke fire-rated cabling containment and ductwork systems.

National Operations Manager - Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Coordinate design, manufacturing and installation activities.
• Work closely with clients, project managers and site teams to ensure programmes and deadlines are met.
• Manage project schedules, resources, logistics and installation teams.
• Attend client meetings, site meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure all projects comply with health & safety requirements, including CDM regulations.
• Ensure risk assessments, method statements and other project documentation are in place.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
• Manage and resolve client queries, variations and contractual issues.
• Source and coordinate suitably qualified installation teams.
• Lead and support site supervisors, project coordinators and installation teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

National Operations Manager - Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations or project management within construction, building services or specialist manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of MEP/HVAC systems, fire-rated ductwork and/or containment systems.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, installation and site operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing multiple projects.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements and construction regulations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects across the UK.
