Job description

Operations Manager - KOKI Group UK Ltd

As the Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team involved in the strategic and operational running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse and service departments, playing a vital role in achieving the company's growth targets.

  1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation (input, storage, and output) of the warehouse and service departments for both brands, directly influencing monthly sales targets.
  2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including performance monitoring and development support.
  3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining the highest safety standards.
  4. Oversee contracts related to warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
  5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with periodic activities of the finance IT system.
  7. Require at least three years of experience in a similar role.
  8. Be IT literate, with proficient use of WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  9. Possess excellent communication skills and a professional manner to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
  10. Demonstrate strong commercial and business awareness.
  11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking.
  12. Show adaptability and initiative.
  13. Be tenacious, flexible, and a team player.
  14. Possess robust problem-solving skills.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with Microsoft Navision.
