Job description

Job Title: Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team and involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You are responsible for the warehouse and service departments and will have the opportunity to participate in key decisions that will drive the organisation's growth targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation (input, storage, and output) of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, influencing monthly sales targets.
  2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including monitoring performance and supporting their development.
  3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining high safety standards.
  4. Oversee contracts related to warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
  5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
  6. Ensure inventory records are accurate and meet periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
  7. Require at least three years of experience in a similar role.
  8. Be IT literate with proficiency in WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  9. Possess excellent communication skills and a professional manner, capable of building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
  10. Have strong commercial and business awareness.
  11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritising, and multitasking.
  12. Be adaptable, proactive, tenacious, flexible, and a team player.
  13. Demonstrate robust problem-solving skills.
Desirable but not essential:
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Navision.
