Eurofins Scientific is a global life sciences company delivering analytical testing services across multiple industries. We seek an Operations Manager to lead performance, drive continuous improvement and manage senior teams, ensuring safety, quality and customer service excellence.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00) based in the UK. The successful candidate will shape operational strategy, lead managers and deliver measurable business results.

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable success in improving performance, productivity and efficiency.
• Experience leading managers, supervisors and operational teams.
• Strong track record of driving change and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing operational KPIs and performance improvement programmes.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning and business performance management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in regulated environments such as food, manufacturing, logistics or healthcare.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Project management and change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance of the business unit.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure resources, equipment, systems and processes meet objectives.
• Drive a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Monitor and improve KPIs; take corrective actions as needed.
• Lead change initiatives to improve productivity and cost performance.
• Identify and simplify processes to standardise ways of working.
• Oversee new processes, systems and technology implementations.
