What you'll be doing:

Organising and supervising the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. Managing resources efficiently, including stock, staff, and assets. Overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards and specifications.

• Providing strategic guidance and managing the team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Effective communication, motivation, and leadership of staff
• Responsibility for food safety and health & safety procedures
• Regular communication with the client
• Implementing action plans from customer feedback
• Promoting the unit and representing Compass Group
• Managing stakeholders
• Ensuring high standards of hospitality and service
• Identifying opportunities for service enhancement
• Bringing innovation and flair
• Monitoring budgets and trends, taking corrective actions as needed
• Delivering customer requirements to expectations
