Job summary

Cubed Resourcing Ltd is sourcing an Operations Manager for a well-established manufacturer of assembled infrastructure products. You’ll lead manufacturing operations, owning output, people, cost and quality to align with site programmes so every project is delivered on time and in full.

You’ll drive OTIF delivery, lean improvements and cost reduction, while managing budgets and supplier relationships. A hands-on leadership style and track record in modular or M+E manufacturing are ideal.

Qualifications

• Proven operations or production leadership in a technical assembly environment.
• Experience with DfMA, Offsite/Modular manufacturing or M+E manufacturing.
• Strong grasp of production planning, MRP/ERP and advanced Excel.
• Lean and continuous improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban and value stream mapping.
• Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 quality and safety systems.
• Commercial sense, including P&L awareness, budget control and understanding of contracts.
• Hands-on leadership style with solid stakeholder, client and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across production, engineering, quality and logistics.
• Plan production, capacity and resources across projects and coordinate with site programmes.
• Drive OTIF delivery, throughput, right-first-time quality and KPI reporting.
• Run Lean and continuous improvement, value engineering and cost reduction.
• Manage factory budgets, labour costs and spending with supply chain
• Cut non-conformances and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Lead Works Orders, BOMs and MRP; support bids from an operations view.
• Lead health, safety and environmental improvements per CDM, RAMS, PUWER, LOLER and DSEAR.
• Support growth, factory expansion and team succession planning.
