Job summary

Howco Group in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimise all operational activities. The role involves managing inventory, quality control, and health & safety, ensuring efficient delivery of products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a background in senior Operations/Production Management, experience leading teams, and knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a previous senior Operations/Production Management role.
• Experience of leading multi-disciplined teams from order receipt to despatch.
• A track record of delivering and exceeding KPI’s related to operational performance targets.
• Qualified in Operational Excellence competencies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

• Ensure that the operational infrastructure supports strategic requirements.
