About the role:

As Operations Lead you will have ownership of the full delivery function and be expected to drive operation excellence, maintain a highly profitable department, own strategic resource management and collaborate effectively with both internal and customer teams.

The role will report to the Business Unit Director (BUD) and have a team of direct reports including, Programme Managers Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Workstream SMEs and the appropriate regulatory and compliance personnel.

Requirements

Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:

  • C-suite and Senior Manager stakeholder management
  • Ensure effective and consistent delivery of projects which meets or exceeds customer expectation and leads to repeat business
  • Building and motivating teams, creating opportunity for development
  • Delivery of departmental profitability levels in line with company targets; contributing to the overall profitability of the business
  • Accurate revenue and cost forecasting and recognition within the sector to inform group forecast
  • Champion group culture with all staff, customers, partners and suppliers to create and enhance awareness and appreciation of the company brand
  • Work with the sales and technical pre-sales teams to demonstrate the company’s capability resulting in an increased win rate
  • Active participation within the Business Unit's management team; advising and contributing to the overall Business Unit strategy
  • Broad experience in different project delivery methodologies.
