The Role: The Operations Lead is detail-oriented, excels in data-driven decision making, and advocates for retail inventory management. They will set operational standards within the store, drive profitability by organizing the back of house (BOH), and ensure inventory accuracy to maximize product sell-through.

Customer Experience:
  • Lead memorable customer service experiences, building relationships through the Mejuri brand story.
  • Stay informed about all products and launches, and keep the team updated.
  • Support the in-store customer journey and act as a stylist when needed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure customers receive their products and are thanked.
  • Gather feedback for continuous improvement and participate in training.
Operations:
  • Receiving: Ensure accurate and timely inventory and POSM receipt processing, assist with backstocking.
  • Order Fulfillment: Manage BOH flow for sales, ensuring efficiency in packaging and delivery.
  • Inventory & Supply Management: Maintain inventory accuracy, support count processes, troubleshoot discrepancies, and document shrinkage.
  • Storage & Organization: Keep BOH organized, including display and sellable inventory.
  • Technology Management: Ensure all technology functions properly and escalate issues as needed.
Visual Merchandising:
  • Collaborate with the Visual Lead to monitor stock levels and improve sell-through.
  • Support retail campaign implementation and visual display maintenance.
  • Report damaged displays and provide feedback for improvements.
Sales:
  • Support achievement of store KPIs.
  • Assist operational systems to maximize results.
  • Share operational information with the team.
  • Support training and onboarding.
  • Manage the floor and customer experience in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Handle customer insights and manage phone sales, responding to voicemails within 12 hours.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in high-volume retail.
  • Ability to create standards and procedures.
  • Creative, adaptable, and organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop solutions.
  • Physical ability to stand for 8 hours, lift 50 lbs.
  • Travel flexibility.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
