Job description

Civil Contractor - Pipelines, Drainage, Sewer and Gas

Up to $200k + super

Civil Construction firm focused on the delivery of water/gas networks and earthworks across the North-western corridor of Melbourne. With a breadth of active projects with council, head contractors and water authorities.

This role is to oversee the Asset re-location and Non-Destructive Digging department across multiple live projects. Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Proven experience in the installation of water, sewer and gas pipeline projects.
  • Schedule crews between 5-10 people across multiple live sites.
  • Scheduling equipment such as NDD Trucks, CCTV equipment and Excavators.
  • Tender and win new projects.
  • Manage client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate construction crews.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
  • Key Personnel accreditation with Victorian Water Authorities is highly sought after.
