Job summary

AWE's Evolve Graduate Programme in Aldermaston offers a two-year rotation across key Operations domains, starting September 2027. You will contribute to real work from day one and learn core technical, professional, and leadership skills for a long-term career.

The role requires a minimum 2:2 in a relevant discipline and British nationality with clearance. Onsite work and structured development are central to the programme.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 in an eligible science, mechanical engineering, mathematics, computing, project management, business, economics, finance, analytics, logistics, operations or supply-chain discipline.
• British National with the ability to obtain security clearance.
• Onsite role in Aldermaston.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Production, Nuclear Materials Management, Logistics, Operations Planning and Operations Excellence and Readiness.
• Understand the lifecycle from raw materials to finished products.
• Support manufacturing delivery, resources, supply chains and operational transition.
• Contribute to process improvement, waste reduction, automation and sustainability.
• Collaborate with frontline teams through to senior leaders.
