Role Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Operations Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will provide critical finance business partnering support to the Supply Chain leadership teams and depot management. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment who loves problem-solving, developing insightful reporting and driving a relentless focus in a collaborative style to improve depot performance. With a positive mindset, we are looking for someone who is not afraid to challenge but also remains customer-focused to drive the Supply Chain and Finance agendas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Business Partnering: Provide comprehensive finance support to Supply Chain leadership and depot management, focusing on full P&L, KPI, and cashflow.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare month end reporting, establish rolling budgets and forecasts, and create board level reporting packages to inform on progress and outlooks.
  • Insight & Improvement: Deliver detailed analysis and reporting to highlight trends and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Performance Steering: Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to provide a forward looking perspective, enabling management teams to steer performance in month.
  • Project Support: Offer finance support to Supply Chain projects, driving continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives within finance processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and management reporting in a corporate environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Power BI and SAP.
  • Dynamic personality with a forward thinking approach and good attention to detail.
