Job summary

JUBEL Ltd. in London seeks a Logistics professional to own daily On Trade orders, invoicing, and day-to-day logistics with 3PL and warehouse teams.

You will drive efficiency and sustainability, manage capacity planning, and nurture relationships with 3PL partners and On Trade customers, ensuring accurate fulfilment and compliant exports.

Qualifications

  • Strong academic track record with supply-chain background a strong plus.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and managing stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience in a food/B2B environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Process On Trade orders daily, ensuring accuracy and smooth fulfilment.
  • Invoice On Trade customers accurately and promptly.
  • Manage 3PL and warehouse teams to maintain FIFO and OTIF delivery.
  • Oversee outbound duty management and EMCS compliance for exports.
  • Analyse logistics network to cut costs and lead times, improve service levels.
  • Identify sustainability initiatives and reduce carbon footprint in secondary logistics.
  • Assist capacity planning across warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Build strong relationships with 3PL partners and On Trade customers; resolve issues promptly.

Job description

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports To: Logistics Manager

Key Internal Relationships: Logistics Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Supply Chain, Operations Executives

Key External Relationships: Warehouse Operatives, 3rd Party Logistics Partner

Key responsibilities:
1. Logistics & Order Fulfilment
  • Order Processing: Receive, review, and process daily On Trade orders, ensuring accuracy and smooth fulfilment of all orders.

  • Customer Invoicing: Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing of On Trade customers.

  • Day to Day Logistics: Manage 3rd party logistics partners (3PL) and warehouse teams to ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock management and high levels of on-time in-full (OTIF) order fulfilment.

  • Excise Duty & Customs Management: Outbound duty management, ensuring Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) compliance and management of exports.

2. Efficiency & Sustainability
  • Logistics Optimisation: Analyse current supply network to identify opportunities for reducing logistics costs (LOGS), shortening delivery lead times, and improving overall service levels.

  • Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and implement environmental efficiency projects within secondary logistics – consolidating orders, reducing tonne mileage and carbon emissions, and executing alternative fuel delivery options.

  • Capacity Planning: Assist with planning and managing future capacity needs across warehouse and logistics operations.

3. Key Relationship Management
  • Logistics Partners: Build best in class relationships with key 3PL and secondary logistics partners to improve overall network capability.

  • On Trade Customers: Act as the primary point of contact for all On Trade wholesalers, managing key relationships with stock controllers, warehouse operatives, and commercial teams. Resolve all fulfilment and service matters promptly and professionally, including POD discrepancies, damage claims and ullage reports.

  • Data Analysis: Analyse customer ordering patterns and logistics trends to deliver actionable insights to internal Operations and Commercial teams to drive continuous operational improve

Qualification: Degree, preferably in relevant area such as engineering or business

Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong academic track record, with a supply-chain background a strong plus
  • Experience balancing and managing a high number of competing priorities
  • Managing stakeholders and communicating across the business
  • Preferably some F&B experience, with a strong interest necessary
  • Ability to use Google Sheets & MS Excel proficiently

OTHER DETAILS

Start date: immediately

Location: office based in Kennington, London

Salary banding: £30,000

  • Annual gift: £100 gift budget for each year you are with the business (e.g. year 3 = £300 to spend however you wish)
  • Holiday policy: flexible holiday policy
