Job description

Job Title –Operations Executive – Fluent French

Job Location – London

Salary – 16k 20k plus bonus

My client is recruiting a fluent French travel operations executive that has two years’ experience in the travel sector.

In the role you will be ensuring that all administration for group reservations is completed in a timely manner. Also in the role you will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all suppliers and service providers.

You must have a great personality as you will need to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the clients and to have total responsibility for all their confirmed holiday.

You will be responsible for all the amendments and changes from clients. You must advise the client of the most suitable options for their tours.

A major part of the role is to check that all travel services are booked well in advance of the date of travel and ensure that all service providers are kept informed of all changes and amendments to their confirmed groups.

You must acknowledge confirmations to clients and meet all targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer email / faxes within 4 hours
  • Answer any correspondence on day of receipt
  • Make service reservations as per the client’s requirements
  • Maintain close communication with the relevant clients at all times on the progress of the bookings
  • Offer clients as many additional services as possible in order to increase the income per group
  • Be aware of any special offers / deals
  • Contact the client 6 weeks before arrival to get an update
  • Ensure that the client provides the necessary information
  • Respond to complaints within 2 working days
  • Resolve problems on same day whilst groups are traveling
  • Reconfirm in writing what’s been agreed verbally
