What's the role about?

Operations Executive

Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum + annual company bonus scheme

Working: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with some evening and weekend work

Location: Head office (RG41) with some flexibility for home working/on-site activation visits across the UK

You will be working for REL Field Marketing, to fulfil the role of Operations Executive on our Experiential team. Supporting the delivery of exciting experiential events by working closely with the Account Manager and Clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist the Account Manager with each campaign from the initial client brief to planning and seeing through to final delivery
  • Attend client calls, take minutes and keep project plans and status reports up to date
  • Work to tight deadlines and manage time efficiently to ensure projects run smoothly to achieve deadlines
  • Manage our warehouse processes including delivery of Point Of Sale (POS) materials, sampling stock, event kit & managing logistics with staff (including delivery queries)
  • Journey planning & logistics management
  • Support with staff recruitment including being able to confidently liaise with staff and give them clear instructions, build and maintain strong relationships
  • Create detailed staff briefs & provide a first point of contact for on-site staff - this includes some evenings and weekends
  • Request quotes and raise PO’s
  • Support on-site including site visits and event installation
  • Post event evaluation – use event feedback to write informative, accurate reporting decks to share with the client following any activity

You will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role, supporting with planning & delivery of experiential events
  • Some client handling experience
  • A full driving license
  • Effective communication & highly organised
  • A positive team player attitude
  • The ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and manage time effectively
