Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Operations Manager for the Bedford area to oversee governance, compliance, trials and business coordination within the BlueBear business. The role focuses on process standardisation, risk management and continuous improvement across the organisation, ensuring alignment with Saab UK quality standards.

You will liaise with multiple functions, drive performance metrics, manage audits, and support business continuity activities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and ability to drive change across an organisation.
• Experience implementing quality management systems and compliance.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience handling risk management and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across the organisation to high standards.
• Lead process standardisation and ensure compliance with the quality management system.
• Coordinate export control, health & safety and security compliance with Saab UK.
• Develop and track KPIs to support strategic plans and performance.
• Capture customer feedback and communicate improvements across the business.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activity and training on continuous improvement.
