Job summary

Owen Daniels in London is seeking an Operations Excellence Leader to drive continuous improvement across the site and align with business goals.

You will lead cross-functional improvement projects, build robust business cases with costs and benefits, and embed Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.

The role is permanent with a salary up to £70,000 plus a benefits package including pension, life cover, private healthcare option, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept through delivery with measurable results.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing teams at all levels.
• Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 ideally.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualification.

Job Description

Lead the continuous improvement strategy across the site and ensure it supports overall business objectives.

Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity and capacity.

Lead cross-functional improvement projects from initial idea through to implementation and long term sustainability.

Build business cases for improvement projects, including costs, benefits, resources and expected return.

Introduce and embed Lean and Continuous Improvement tools, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping etc.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience leading projects from initial concept and planning through implementation, taking full ownership and accountability for delivery, and ensuring successful completion with measurable, sustainable results
• A proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in areas such as productivity, quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing teams at all levels.
• Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 ideally
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt qualification.
