We are seeking dedicated and skilled Chartered Civil Engineers to join our team working on high-profile DBFO (Design-Build-Finance-Operate) contracts within Scotland’s transport infrastructure. This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals experienced in managing critical infrastructure projects, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with our clients.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Engineer, you will ensure the efficient execution and compliance of contractual obligations under the Performance Audit Group Scotland contract. Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as the management agent, fulfilling duties delegated by the employer as per contractual terms.
• Overseeing construction, management, and maintenance of Scotland’s trunk road network.
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and performance optimization.
• Preparing reports and leading meetings to review operations and maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience managing contractual and commercial issues related to road network operations.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, contractual, and commercial frameworks in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• BEng in Engineering or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Significant experience in the construction, management, and maintenance of road networks, especially within a DBFO contract setting.
• Proven track record in operational and maintenance management of major road networks.
• Experience in auditing, monitoring, and reporting on infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
