Operations & Education Lead

Fixed-term 18-month contract

Our client is a leading provider of PE and Music resources designed to make teaching easy, fun, and curriculum-aligned for primary schools teaching the UK national curriculum.

They are committed to supporting teachers with innovative solutions that inspire confidence and enrich learning. They are seeking an experienced, visionary leader to cover maternity leave. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continued success and growth of the business during this period.

The ideal candidate will have headteacher or deputy headteacher experience with a strong background in teaching or leading both PE and music in UK primary schools.

As Interim Operations & Education Lead, you will oversee the operational management of the business, support key educational projects, and provide leadership to ensure the company continues to deliver high-quality services to schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide operational and educational leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the business.
  2. Oversee and support the delivery of PE and music resources, maintaining curriculum alignment and quality.
  3. Lead and support the core team, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.
  4. Maintain strong relationships with schools, partners, and key stakeholders.
  5. Drive ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring they stay on track and aligned with company values.
  6. Collaborate with the co-founders remotely to ensure strategic alignment with the company's long-term vision.

You will have headteacher or deputy headteacher experience with a proven track record of leadership in UK primary education, including experience teaching or leading both PE and music curricula. You should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, and be a strategic thinker capable of quick adaptation and informed decision-making.
