At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Irelands most distinctive catering experts, we are passionate about great food, great coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything that we do. We are currently recruiting for an Operations Director to work with us across our stadia estate. We are looking for an experienced operator who can lead our senior on-site teams to deliver and provide great experiences. This is a brand-new role and will involve working with sites we have in London, Southampton, Charlton, Watford and Peterborough.
Location: Flexible if happy to travel to London, Southampton, Charlton, Watford and Peterborough
Rate of pay: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum + amazing benefits
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, this position would require working 5 over 7 shift patterns depending on business needs
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the stadium/venue operations departments
• Lead a bottom-up review of all stadium/venue operational activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness
• Management of relationship with all stadium/venue stakeholders (internal and external)
• Set and maintain the operations budget, making sure cost controls are implemented as needed to achieve positive financial results
• Oversee control of all inventories, product cost, and purchasing
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested from time to time
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Demonstrable event operations or stadium management experience within a high paced environment
• Proven experience delivering large scale projects on time and on budget
• Soundtrack record of managing and forecasting significant budgets
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate people and teams
• Demonstrable experience implementing change in large scale and/or complex operations
• Proven experience managing and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
