Job Description

South West Norse is a successful joint venture partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council. This Commercial Partnership delivers expertise across cleaning, catering, and facilities management disciplines, as well as specialising in delivering high-profile, inspiring developments and property consultancy services across the region.

We are seeking an experienced senior management professional to provide strategic and operational leadership as our South West Norse Operations Director.

The Role

• Lead and direct commercial strategy, contractual performance, and operational delivery of the joint venture.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and partners, and develop new partnership opportunities.
• Deliver a sustainable, profitable business exceeding Business Plan targets.
• Provide leadership and management to ensure staff meet or exceed their targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Manage financial budgets and P&L responsibilities.
• Review organizational structures to align with business priorities.

Our Successful Candidate

We seek a candidate with industry knowledge, management experience, and commercial expertise, including:

• Knowledge of the British local government system and property services.
• Degree in business or similar, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Senior management experience with financial responsibility.
• Knowledge of building works management.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Ability to identify and solve issues and risks.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
