Job summary

Craven Street Wealth are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join the executive team. This senior role focuses on shaping the firm’s TOM, ensuring client service and paraplanning operate efficiently in line with regulatory expectations.

You will lead strategic operations across growth, governance and people leadership, manage budgets, and build scalable processes to support regional expansion and potential mergers.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable operating models.
• Solid knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty and governance expectations.
• People focused approach with experience leading and developing teams.
• Budget management and commercial awareness.
• Experience supporting growth, regional expansion or M&A integration.
• Experience within a Chartered firm or wealth management technology/CRM would be advantageous.
• At least Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership at board level translating ambitions into practical, well-run operations.
• Designing and continuously improving end-to-end client service processes from onboarding to ongoing advice.
• Ownership of operations policies to support financial planning delivery and adviser competence checks.
• Embed high service standards aligned with FCA Consumer Duty, using clear workflows and SLAs.
• Ensure operations support FCA requirements, strong controls and risk management.
• Build scalable infrastructure to support regional expansion and future mergers.
• Lead, develop and motivate operational, client service and paraplanning teams.
