Job description

Operations Director to oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations with a focus on high-volume output, customer service excellence, continuous improvement, team development, and health & safety.

Responsibilities

  • Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
  • Lead 6S implementation
  • Champion OTIF (On Time In Full) as the key performance metric.
  • Ensure every process is aligned with delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Production Planning & Execution
  • Design and optimise processes for high-volume simple manufacturing environments
  • Define and monitor KPIs, ensure strict process compliance.
  • Lead operational teams through ERP implementation in 2025, ensuring robust transition and realisation of efficiencies.
  • Onboard and manage critical suppliers, assess performance, and streamline supply chain processes.
  • Prepare for anticipated growth and complexity in supplier networks.
  • Lead cross-functional CI initiatives-production, warehousing, logistics, packing, and customer service.
  • Encourage innovative, automated, and efficiency-driven solutions throughout operations.

  • Implement performance review and coaching systems; foster agility, collaboration, and high performance.
