Location: London (Monday to Friday, office-based)

Please note: this role is different from a typical pub sector operations role.

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a senior operator seeking a different challenge. This London-based role involves working with a business that actively buys and sells pubs across the UK, with offices in London, Manchester, and Glasgow. With ongoing investment and growth plans, they are looking for an experienced leader to head up the London office and drive the next stage of development. This is more strategic than operational: focusing on identifying opportunities, developing partnerships, and supporting acquisitions and sales. It is suited to someone from pub or hospitality operations who is now looking for a Monday to Friday role with less hands-on operational work.

The company is well-funded and ambitious, planning significant expansion over the next 12-18 months. They seek someone knowledgeable about pubs, commercially astute, and capable of leading a small team. The role involves working closely with the wider group to ensure smooth deal execution, strong regional communication, and strategic input from a hospitality perspective.

The ideal candidate will come from a branded or quality-led pub, bar, or restaurant background, with experience at Operations Director level or similar, managing teams and growing businesses. This is a future MD-level opportunity for someone ready to move beyond pure operations into a broader strategic leadership role.
