This is a great opportunity for a change expert with a background in consulting or large-scale transformation delivery to join our expanding change and transformation team within Mace advisory. We set up clients for success by bringing our global learning and expertise to inform project development, mobilisation, and delivery.

Part of our advisory services centre of excellence, the change and transformation team has a proven track record of delivering diverse projects with property and infrastructure clients worldwide.

We are seeking an operations director with broad change and transformation experience to complement our team, offering expertise in structuring and delivering change across various sectors.

The role involves driving work-winning functions, leading teams in complex environments, owning portfolios, and providing technical expertise across sectors.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Influencing strategic development and executing strategies aligned with our vision.
  • Setting priorities and contributing to execution plans to meet KPIs.
  • Leading multiple teams to achieve outputs across various organizations and sectors globally.
  • Owning the performance of portfolios and service lines.
  • Business development and work-winning, ensuring resource alignment to meet client needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder networks.
  • Implementing systematic performance improvements.
  • Providing technical expertise in areas like financial modelling, stakeholder management, etc.
  • Managing client relationships and business ownership activities.
  • Recruitment, resourcing, and staff retention.
  • Sponsoring corporate initiatives like regional and EDI networks.
  • Promoting advisory work outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Creating thought leadership and marketing materials.
  • Sharing responsibility for net zero carbon transition during project delivery.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience leading complex change and transformation programs.
  • Ability to develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex topics.
  • Experience managing benefits and stakeholder environments.
  • Visible change leadership and coaching skills.
  • Expertise in change management and transformation areas.
  • Skills supporting business development activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of property and infrastructure sectors (e.g., Aviation, Rail, Healthcare).

You’ll also have:

  • Leadership with specialization in change and transformation, backed by qualifications and consulting experience.
  • A self-starter with a passion for change, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • A commitment to sharing knowledge and developing junior staff.
