Role Title: Operations Director
Salary: Excellent salary and benefits
Location: London and South East

As our UK based Facilities Management client prepares for the next exciting stage of growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Director to lead the day-to-day performance of their business.

In this highly valued and visible role, you will support and develop your team. Drawing on your depth and breadth of operational experience and customer service, you will encourage and direct the team to achieve exceptional standards that will ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring service delivery to exacting standards through team management
  2. Monitoring and managing the progress of all new and existing contracts to ensure the highest level of service is always delivered
  3. Forging strong relationships with clients to optimise contract retention and develop new opportunities for growth
  4. Motivating team and providing guidance through strong leadership and deep understanding of the customers’ requirements
  5. Attracting, developing and retaining talent into the team to ensure strength and stability
  6. Keeping abreast of all necessary legislation and statutory requirements
  7. Championing the culture of the company

Candidate requirements:
  1. Minimum of five years’ experience leading operational teams in a Facilities Management environment
  2. Preferably degree qualified with excellent numerical and written skills
  3. Commercially driven with a strong focus on achievement through team development
  4. Highly interpersonal with demonstrable experience of working cross functionally
  5. Ability to operate strategically and operationally with all levels in business
  6. Flexibility and adaptability in approach to ensure the highest levels of performance achieved for clients and team
