Operations Director – Warner Hotels

The Role

As an Operations Director, this regional role will lead and support a portfolio of General Managers across the South, driving operational excellence and ensuring the consistent delivery of the Warner Hotels brand promise. You will collaborate closely with central support teams to enhance guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership by aligning hotel level business plans with the overall Warner Hotels strategy. Define and monitor KPIs across operational, financial, and guest satisfaction metrics, and support General Managers in achieving revenue growth, payroll efficiency, and cost control. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Management to drive occupancy and commercial performance.

Operational Excellence & Business Development

  • Partner with General Managers to review P&L performance, identify commercial opportunities, and implement process improvements. Identify and support local events and business development initiatives to drive regional growth and community engagement.

Collaboration & Brand Standards

  • Foster a highly collaborative approach with central support teams. Oversee the implementation of brand standards and operational initiatives, ensuring consistency across all sites. Ensure compliance and service training is consistently applied.

Safety & Crisis Management

  • Perform routine hygiene and safety audits, demonstrating strong crisis management capabilities and the ability to execute effectively under pressure.

People & Culture

  • Conduct regular listening sessions with hotel teams to understand engagement drivers. Lead talent identification and development, contributing to the broader succession strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • A commercially astute operator with a proven ability to grow individual business P&Ls.
  • Extensive experience managing multi-site operations in hospitality or leisure environments such as hotels, holiday parks, or leisure resorts. A background in food and beverage operations is a distinct advantage, particularly in environments where F&B supports the broader guest experience.
  • Strong operational acumen with a track record of improving standards and embedding new practices.
  • Decisive and inspiring leader, capable of navigating ambiguity and leading remote teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in high-level operational leadership roles.
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and leading teams through change.
