Operations Director - Essex

Passive Fire Safety - Property Services & Commercial

Up to £120,000 + Package

My client is an established construction contractor currently recruiting for an Operations Director to head up their Fire Safety division across London & South East.

The Role

Within this role, you will work alongside a commercial manager ensuring P&L, budgets, and deadlines are met. You will be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard, as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works, and budgeting. Your direct team will include contract managers, supervisors, and office staff. You will report directly to the Managing Director, who will support you in making the contracts a success.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire safety works (fire door installation & fire stopping works). Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects, and an ability to problem-solve in complex situations is required. A good knowledge of up-to-date legislation and strong organizational skills is also desired.

Having the ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members, is essential.
