Working Hours
As an Operations Degree Apprentice, you will work various shifts including early, late, night, and some weekends to gain full exposure to our 24/7 operation. Shift patterns include:
- Early shifts (around 6am)
- Late shifts (until 10pm)
- Night shifts (10pm – 6am)
Notice of shift schedules will be provided in advance.
About the Apprenticeship
Over three years, you will learn about:
- Logistics & Supply Chain Operations: Parcel delivery network, tracking, route optimization, fleet management.
- Operational Management: Managing teams, KPIs, shift planning, resource allocation.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Cost analysis, budgeting, performance data analysis.
- Customer Service & Client Relationships: Handling B2B and B2C customers, resolving issues.
- Leadership & People Management: Managing teams, developing leadership skills, understanding HR policies.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Adopting new technology like route optimization and automated systems.
- Sustainability & Environmental Practices: Reducing carbon footprint, sustainable packaging, alternative fuel vehicles.
