We are currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to be based at our Manchester office. We’re looking to hire to expand the existing team and support existing workload, along with enabling capacity for additional growth. We’re looking for an experienced operator, 3+ years of International Freight Forwarding, Multi-Modal & Multi-Directional (Ocean, Air & Road – Imports and Exports), on an End to End basis, so Quoting > Booking > Pre-Alert > Documentation > Clearance > Delivery > Invoicing.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• To arrange / coordinate the movement of goods in line with company policy and customer requirements within agreed time and cost frames

• To ensure all documentation in completed in line with regulatory and company quality procedures

• To ensure invoices are raised accurately and within agreed team KPI’s

• To provide accurate quotations within agreed KPI’s

• To assist with activities as required within the Freight Services Team

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 3 years experience within freight forwarding / logistics industry.

DG Awareness and Aviation Security preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

The ability to demonstrate commitment in meeting customer needs and expectations.

Strong attention to detail to achieve accuracy.

Experience using Microsoft Office products.

Experience working to tight deadlines and effective time management.
