Job description
Overview

Do you love bringing order to busy schedules and making things run smoothly?

Would you like to be part of a company that inspires children through the arts, creativity, and movement?

At Dance&Arts, we deliver dance, drama, languages, and wellness classes to schools across London and beyond. Our mission is to enrich children’s lives with creativity, confidence, and joy. To keep everything running behind the scenes, we’re looking for a highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One moment you’ll be coordinating instructors’ timetables and confirming classes with schools, the next you’ll be arranging cover teachers or preparing marketing packs in our Nottingham office. You’ll be the glue that holds our operations together — the first point of contact for schools and instructors, and the person who ensures our programmes run seamlessly.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate schedules, bookings, and cover for classes.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with schools and freelance instructors.
  • Keep our records and CRM systems up to date.
  • Support marketing campaigns and prepare materials for schools.
  • Collect feedback and help us maintain the highest standards.
What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Organised and detail-focused, with strong communication skills.
  • Confident working independently and taking initiative.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools.
  • Based in Nottingham and able to work both from home and mostly in the office NG1.
  • Looking for a part-time, long-term role where you can grow with us.
The Details
  • Hours: 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Mon–Fri, from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm).
  • Location: Hybrid - with most days in our Nottingham NG1 office, plus some flexibility to work from home.
  • Pay: From £14 to £16 per hour, based on experience.
  • Annual Leave: At least 14 days must be taken during our August business closure. Annual leave is restricted during our busiest periods: Christmas, Easter, and the weeks at the end of August / beginning of September when we prepare for the new school term.
  • Full training given

If you’re looking for a meaningful role in a creative, education-focused company — where your work makes a real difference every day — we’d love to hear from you.
