Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the operation, working closely with management to ensure production targets are achieved and processes are followed.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to work independently, monitor workloads and assist with improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing or operations beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of production and operations.
• Monitor workloads, priorities and production targets.
• Ensure staff stay focused and processes followed.
• Collect and check daily and weekly production figures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Identify and report operational issues or delays.
• Support Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Communicate operational and customer requirements to staff.
• Work with the Director and Senior Management Team.
• Assist with improving operational efficiency and processes.

Full-Time | 38 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of production and operations.
• Monitor workloads, priorities and production targets.
• Ensure staff remain focused and processes are followed correctly.
• Collect and check daily and weekly production figures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Identify and report operational issues or delays.
• Support Health & Safety procedures and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Communicate operational and customer requirements to staff.
• Work closely with the Director and Senior Management Team.
• Assist with improving operational efficiency and processes.

The Ideal Candidate

Pay & Progression

• £13.00 per hour to start
• Pay rate will increase following a successful training period
• Long-term temp-to-perm opportunity
• Salary/progression to be discussed with the client
