Operations Coordinator - Supporting Field Engineers

Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same? Are you proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused, with experience supporting field-based teams? We are a well-established and growing business in the facilities and sector, delivering support to clients across the UK. To strengthen our operations team, we are looking for an Operations Coordinator who can work closely with our field engineers, problem-solve in real time, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This role is about much more than scheduling - it's about communication, agility, and making sure our customers and engineers get the support they need.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting and coordinating field engineers across different regions to ensure effective service delivery
  • Managing multiple systems, databases, and customer portals to keep information accurate and up to date
  • Communicating with engineers, customers, and colleagues to resolve issues quickly and keep everyone informed
  • Adapting to last-minute changes and finding solutions to keep operations on track
  • Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Experience working with or supporting field-based employees (ideally across different regions)
  • Comfortable using multiple systems and managing a variety of tasks at once
  • Proactive, agile, and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
  • A customer-focused communicator who builds strong relationships and takes pride in service quality
  • Experience in scheduling, coordination, or a similar operational support role is an advantage, but not essential
