Job summary

ghd, a leading British brand, seeks a Logistics Coordinator for the UK, focused on transferring stock from the Kitting House to 3PL and onward distribution to retail, salons and e-commerce. The role is based in Leeds with a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH).

You will liaise with UK management, supply planning and 3PL partners to ensure stock availability, accurate receipts, and timely launches while driving process improvements and reporting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-moving, international consumer business; e-commerce distribution ideal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock transfers from UK Kitting House into the 3PL in a timely fashion to maximise availability.
• Process goods receipts and ensure stock transfers are completed.
• Re-integrate stock from returns processing accurately and promptly.
• Resolve all stock in 3PL error statuses and make available quickly.
• Review back-order reports and cancel/transfer orders for fulfillment.
• Monitor stock availability for forward order dates.
• Manage quarantine requirements and releases in the 3PL.
• Oversee virtual warehouses and stock movements.
• Review slow moving and obsolete stock within the 3PL.
• Analyse stock reconciliations for the 3PL monthly.
• Ensure wall-to-wall/perpetual stocktakes are conducted as required.
• Coordinate launches with UK Management and Supply Planning teams.
• Ensure stock meets forecast requirements with Channel Heads and 3PL.
• Manage stock requisition processes.
• Coordinate with Supply Planners on UK requirements and logistics reporting.
• Provide reporting and KPI monitoring within deadlines.
• Support IT projects (Exchequer/Salesforce/Hub) scoping and UAT.
• Anticipate issues to mitigate supply chain risk and go the extra mile.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Responsible for supporting the UK operational logistics requirements, ensuring the smooth transfer of stock from Kitting House through to the UK warehouse and the onward distribution to retail, salon and e-commerce customers.

LOCATION

This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure stock is transferred from UK Kitting house into the 3PL in a timely fashion to enable maximum availability maintaining optimum stock holding levels
• Ensure goods receipts are processed in accordance with the appropriate 3PL KPI’s, ensure that corresponding stock transfers are completed
• Ensure all stock being re-integrated as a result of returns processing is completed in an accurate & timely manner
• Ensure all stock in “error” statuses within the 3PL is resolved and made available as quickly as possible
• Review and monitor the back-order report at the 3PL and cancel or transfer orders to appropriate SKU’s to allow order completion
• Review and monitor stock availability, including availability of stock for forward order dates
• Manage any quarantine requirements within the 3PL & any release from quarantine
• Review and manage accordingly virtual warehouses
• Review and monitor slow moving & obsolete stock within the 3PL
• Review and analyse stock reconciliations for the 3PL monthly
• Ensure that all wall-to-wall / perpetual inventory stocktake requirements within the 3PL are covered and conducted in line with expectation
• Liaise with UK Management team & Supply Planning team to co-ordinate all launches are co-ordinated in the most efficient strategy
• Liaise with the Channel Heads, Digital & Customer Service teams & 3PL to ensure stock is available to meet all forecast requirements and allowing orders to be processed according to agreed timescales
• Manage the stock requisition process
• Liaise with the Supply Planners to ensure all requirements for the UK are met, and any Logistically reporting / reviewing requirements are met
• Complete and provide all reporting and KPI monitoring in appropriate timescales
• Provide support on IT projects around scoping / functionality requirements and UAT testing for Exchequer / Salesforce / Hub
• Anticipate issues to help ghd manage Supply Chain risk. "Go the extra mile" to ensure that issues are resolved promptly.
• Support the development and implementation of ghd’s overall Supply Chain strategy.
• Support the Logistics team where necessary to ensure all requirements are met
