What you'll be doing:

  • Overseeing daily delivery planning and route optimisation across London and the regions.
  • Managing capacity and resource planning against customer demand and forecasts.
  • Monitoring driver performance, compliance, productivity and OTIF.
  • Managing and reporting on key operational KPIs.
  • Identifying operational issues and implementing practical solutions.
  • Working with Customer Service to resolve issues and improve customer experience.
  • Reviewing and improving processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Supporting the introduction of new technology and operational projects.
  • Managing relationships and performance with third-party providers.
  • Providing operational insight and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

What we're looking for:

You’ll have experience in transport, logistics, FMCG distribution or a similar operational environment, together with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ideally, you'll have experience with:

  • Transport planning and optimisation software an advantage.
  • Strong IT knowledge with advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Telematics and operational reporting systems.
