Salary

Up to approximately £70K+ plus car, pension, and additional benefits.

Our client has grown to provide all Groundwork and Civil Engineering services across the UK and Ireland from our Northern Ireland office, delivering services to some of the biggest construction companies worldwide.

The Role & Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director, we seek an Operations / Contracts Manager to take full control of our operations and contracts management. The role involves building and developing our senior management team from pre-contract to project completion. The candidate will manage and deliver the following responsibilities:

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience managing projects in civils/water environments. Good knowledge of contract conditions.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management, and cost control including forecasting.
• Experience with MS Project, developing and training teams.
• Understanding of all contract types, including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
• Educational qualifications: HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent.
• CSCS card and experience with Pre-Qualification and Tendering processes for multi-discipline projects.
• Strong people management, influencing, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
• Desirable: CEng MICE or equivalent, NEBOSH construction certificate, experience with construction software and fostering a lean culture.
