Job Description

About Us

Nower is a tech-enabled private market investor, currently focused on data-driven real estate development in London. We specialise in identifying overlooked opportunities in London’s period residential properties through industry-leading underwriting technology, transforming them through innovative re-configuration strategies. Since our launch in 2023, we’ve been growing rapidly, developing over £12m+ in projects across prime locations such as Belgravia, Battersea, and Clapham. Our current mission is to deliver more efficient and higher-quality housing in London by re-purposing period buildings and developing technology to streamline and optimise key components of property development, such as underwriting & construction management. We are currently building an outstanding team with skilled members across all domains and backgrounds. If you are interested in redefining real estate, one of the biggest markets still in the hands of traditional players, this opportunity might be for you!

Nower was founded by Mike Cooper and Raphael Constantinou, who bring a wealth of experience from the worlds of finance, technology, and real estate. Mike is a former quant at Millennium, where his team of three managed $250M, and previously co-founded Auctree, raising $2.5M and securing clients such as Goldman Sachs and Blackstone. Raphael, formerly Head of Real Estate at Auctree, oversaw $30M+ in transactions and has delivered over £12M in developments to date at Nower.

Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to redefine how Nower delivers its developments and scales its construction operations. You will be responsible for building our operational framework and leading the charge on transforming our construction delivery model. This includes managing active sites and designing scalable processes that support our rapid growth.

You will work closely with leadership and the tech team to tackle some of the toughest and most exciting challenges in real estate development, including optimizing multi-site operations, streamlining subcontractor management, and maintaining top-tier quality across projects. This role is hands-on and project-based, focusing on high-impact operational initiatives leveraging innovative technology to drive market-leading advancements in property development execution.

We’re growing rapidly, and this role offers a unique opportunity to progress quickly within a fast-scaling, innovative company redefining the property development space. As an early hire, you will gain hands-on experience in building and developing high-performing teams. This role will position you to play a key part in shaping the construction arm of the business, offering the skills and leadership experience to lead teams and drive operational excellence as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple development sites across Central London, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage subcontractors while building and developing high-performing teams to support multi-site operations.
  • Work alongside tech to design and implement scalable processes for subcontractor management, material procurement, and snagging to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with building control and health and safety regulations.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has 2+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or a similar operational role within real estate development.
  • Possesses strong organisational, communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and stakeholders effectively.
  • Is committed to learning, with a desire to develop new skills and grow alongside the business as it scales.
  • Is skilled at building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Has a proven ability to solve complex problems and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Holds a degree in a STEM field (but not essential) from a globally top 150 ranked university.
  • Is tech-savvy and digitally fluent, with experience using modern tools and platforms to enhance efficiency (e.g., AI tools, project management software). Familiarity with data tools like SQL, Python, or R is a plus but not essential.
  • Is obsessively driven to achieve excellence, with a relentless focus on delivering high-quality results. This role is for someone who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and is excited to make a tangible impact — if you’re looking for an easy 9-5, this isn’t it.

Benefits

  • An ambitious and creative environment.
  • A supportive culture for implementing new and big ideas.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Offices in Central London.
  • Fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow into a significant leadership role as the firm scales and expands its operations.
  • A brand-new work MacBook to ensure you have the tools needed to excel in your role.
  • Access to an executive assistant after 6 months.
