Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an Operations Manager to drive governance, compliance, trials, and coordination across the BlueBear operation in Bedfordshire. You will oversee process improvement, performance tracking and customer feedback capture to continuously improve operational excellence and integration with Saab UK.

The role requires proven leadership, ability to drive change, and experience with quality management systems and risk management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills and ability to drive change.
• Experience implementing risk management policies and business continuity plans.
• Experience implementing Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Desirable: ISO 27001 knowledge and accreditation.
• Awareness of export controls, health & safety and environmental management.
• Defence industry and UK MOD experience desirable.
• National Security Vetting to SC level or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement and high standards across the organisation.
• Lead standardisation and compliance with the quality management system.
• Coordinate export control, health & safety and security for Saab UK functions.
• Develop and track KPIs to support the strategic plan.
• Capture customer feedback and communicate improvements.
