Overview

Join an established Operations team, utilising your experience to support our 6 operating teams in assessing our existing operational models to ensure that all of our teams are performing at the height of their capabilities.

We have an array of business lines (Professional Indemnity, Financial Institutions, D&O, Terrorism, Political Risks and Real Estate), you will be co-ordinating the background workings of our daily processes, such as management information, producing internal reports, working with our central services departments and making relevant suggestions for improvement.

How you'll make an impact
  • Focused on supporting the front office operations, whilst ensuring the back-office operations that underpin our business are aligned to our goals.
  • Project approach to addressing change activity ensuring guiding the teams through the more challenging aspects of a project.
  • Co-ordinate Divisional critical metrics and SLA’s across a variety of measures. Whilst the teams will focus on sales, new business and renewals, the operations area focuses on making things work and enabling the sales team to perform their role.
  • Engage your analytical skills to review MI, in turn; it will help you to validate your suggestions.
  • You will attend project and divisional meetings, distribute action points and make plans to inspire change. You'll act as a contact for our support services (compliance, financial crime, IT and accounts), as well as dealing with facilities when required. Our Operations unit provide a full support package that comes from truly understanding the business and product lifecycle.
  • Run meetings on specific subjects which will include a cross section of people from within and outside of the Divisions.
About you
  • We’re looking for you to have insurance knowledge, an understanding of operations and/or experience of project specific work
  • We are looking for you to have strong analytical skills.
  • You need to have strong verbal and written communications.
  • Your ability to influence at all levels whilst working in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, engaging presentation abilities and your problem-solving mind-set would suit this role
  • You will deliver a high degree of integrity
