The Operations Business Analyst role in Bromley, Greater London, sits within the Change and Transformation team of a leading financial institution. The role offers a 12-month contract with hybrid working (3 days onsite) and a focus on delivering change across regulatory, legal and market requirements.

You will collaborate with business partners, manage a portfolio of initiatives, analyze processes, and drive improvements in client experience and efficiency while ensuring compliance.

Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a talented Operations Business Analyst to join their dynamic Change and Transformation team within Global Markets. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and results-driven professional to contribute to a variety of change initiatives that are crucial to the organisation's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and support partners to prioritise and implement diverse change initiatives driven by business, legal, regulatory, compliance, or market requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of projects, including strategic, discretionary, and mandated initiatives.
• Drive improvements in client experience, support revenue growth, and enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the delivery of new products and services, ensuring that all changes are effectively communicated and seamlessly integrated into existing operations.
• Analyse and document current operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions that align with strategic objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, provide insights, and ensure alignment with the organisation's goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of operational processes and change management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, enabling effective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences.
• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, demonstrating the ability to build strong relationships and influence outcomes.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial industry is highly desirable.
• Experience in project management and familiarity with agile methodologies will be an advantage.
