Role overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Client Relationship Manager to join our team.

In collaboration with one of our Technology partners FIATech Inc, the role is responsible for working with Energy Clients to transition their brokerage payables processing from existing manual processes to an industry-wide electronic brokerage settlement platform (Atlantis).

The role will be responsible for managing the clients transition process from initial introduction to a successful Atlantis go-live conclusion. The role will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at our client firms, focusing on specific transition project requirements and collaborating with key partners and stakeholders to successful completion.

Ideal candidates will have a background in building and maintaining strong clients relationships and demonstrate strong knowledge of the financial services industry.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with FIATech and Senior Operations and Energy & Commodities leaders to agree on client targets, arrange and attend client meetings, discuss objectives and plans with clients, document action points, arrange follow-up meetings.
  • Post initial meetings, work closely with key internal stakeholders and FIATech to develop and agree plans and timeline for each client.
  • Carefully manage implementation of agreed solution plan in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Track competitor activity and market share for designated products, escalating key issues to senior management.
  • Analyse Management Information to identify client opportunities; propose action plans and timelines for business/technology growth initiatives.
  • Assist Senior Management with internal/external presentations and work on participate in specific related projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and contact information.
Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Good understanding of financial markets and the interdealer broking environment, including client base, trading venues and technology platforms.
  • Direct experience operating in financial markets.
  • Solid, demonstrable client facing experience, ideally with an existing network of institutional clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to engage confidently at all organisational levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking abilities.
  • Adaptability to different audiences and situations.
  • Analytical thinker able to identify, assess, and capitalise on efficiency / opportunity.
  • Highly organised and adept with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter with a high level of energy and drive for results.
  • Honest, ethical and aligned to company values.
  • Comfortable seeking out new business opportunities.

Desired

  • Current or previous proven relationships with Institutional clients.
  • Some understanding of the FIA-Tech Atlantis platform.
