Summary of the role/position

These exciting opportunities are for enthusiastic, sport-minded professionals to join our team as an Operations Assistant at the University of Exeter Sports Office.

This role is based at St Luke’s Sports Centre and Cornwall House Swimming Pool (seasonally), with an expectation to work at the Sports Park (Streatham Campus) when required. An NPLQ and/or Level 2 Gym qualification would be desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of three sites, delivering high standards of service, lifeguarding (if qualified), equipment setup and takedown, supervising gyms, and maintaining cleanliness.

Experience in similar environments and dealing with diverse customers is desirable, along with awareness of health and safety issues.

A proactive attitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and a desire to succeed are important qualities for this role.
