DSV is recruiting for an Operations Assistant in Feltham. This role will be part of our Night Export department.

The successful candidate, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, will be responsible for producing CSDs and cutting and closing MAWBs.

The ideal candidate must be self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a focus on high-quality work.

Requirements include good export documentation awareness, organization, punctuality, and knowledge of the Air Freight industry.

We seek a person who can enhance our highly skilled export team, offering alternative solutions to challenges while working under pressure.

Key Tasks

• Producing MAWBs
• Producing HAWBs
• Producing CSDs
• Checking lot x-ray log
• Checking MUCR/DUCRs match in ICE
• Handling any consolidation re-hashes
• Servicing our blue-chip account
• Ensuring tie-ups are completed
• Monitoring the gateway inbox
• Checking postflights
• Splitting documentation in Cargowise

Duties / Responsibilities

• Maintaining systems and processes, providing excellent customer service, and preparing export documentation
• Managing HMC control requirements for exports
• Liaising with airlines, branches, and warehouses
• Problem-solving related to customs paperwork and flight monitoring
• Following shipment procedures according to company policies
• Maintaining accurate data in company systems
• Matching export records for customs compliance
• Ensuring operational procedures and statutory requirements, including safety, are met

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• Team player attitude
• Experience with Security "Regulated Agent" and CargoWise preferred but not essential
• Analytical skills are an advantage
