Job Description:

About The Role

We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a part-time, 3-week rolling rota basis. This position offers a variety of set shifts across 3 weeks and averages 17.71 hours per week.

The Devon OOH service provides advice, information, and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.

The OOH service operates across several locations within Devon, so occasional travel will be required. Your main base will be in our office in Plymouth.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the Operations Manager in managing Practice Plus Group’s services throughout Devon OOH, specifically in our Plymouth sites. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality service by utilizing resources efficiently, monitoring and evaluating staff performance through regular audits, assisting with recruitment, selection, and training of operational staff, and providing reports to the Operations Manager as needed. Since this is an out-of-hours role, you will be required to work unsociable hours.

Please note: If you are not a passport holder of the country for the vacancy, you might need a work permit. Check our Blog for more information.
