Job description

Join us in this role where you'll lead the development and execution of long-term strategic plans that will determine the future of assets in UK West. You'll align efforts across different strategic areas in Ørsted and maximize value creation through business case analysis and forecasting.

You'll be part of the team where you, together with your colleagues, will navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, cultivate robust relationships, and act as the primary liaison between the organization and external partners. As a team, we foster collaboration and support for strategic initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading strategic initiatives that provide long-term clarity for UK West
  2. Serving as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations
  3. Influencing decision-making at the highest levels by presenting compelling business cases and analysis
  4. Facilitating strategic discussions with executive leadership to drive consensus and commitment
  5. Overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring effective execution and desired outcomes
  6. Championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  7. Acting as the primary liaison between the organization and external partners, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding of strategic objectives

Qualifications include:

  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and implementation skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, focused on driving measurable results
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and influence at all levels
  • Ability to build and lead effective teams that leverage diverse skills and perspectives
  • Knowledge of offshore wind regulatory and commercial frameworks
  • Experience in budgeting, cost control, and project management
  • Resilience and adaptability to lead through ambiguity and change
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; master's preferred, or equivalent experience
