Sustainable Fitch - Operations Analyst

Sustainable Fitch is currently seeking an Operations Analyst, based in Manchester

Part of Fitch Group, Sustainable Fitch is focused on research and analysis of ESG themes for companies and their debt instruments across the globe. The products offered by Sustainable Fitch include ESG Scores, ESG Ratings and ESG Research, with the support of Product Development and Resource teams. It has offices in Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, New York, Singapore and Toronto.

As an Operations Analyst, you will support Sustainable Fitch’s analytical team to help streamline processes and bring consistency and standardization to all operational aspects of our ESG Products. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and seeking to help the team with workflow enhancements.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Support the team on data driven requests, such as portfolio coverage checks for commercial sales, responding to client and constituent requests, and ensuring that relevant databases are accurate. An excellent command of excel is necessary for this.
  • Facilitate smooth operational workflows and communications among team members, for example; ensuring that procedures and timelines are followed for required meetings and distribution of presentations.
  • Maintain electronic documentation and perform timely, routine administrative tasks in support of the SuF analysts using Fitch’s proprietary applications.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on analyst productivity, helping to identify trends and themes to enhance goal delivery.
  • Partner with team members to ensure the successful completion of ad hoc requests and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the current processes, procedures, applications, management reports and training to provide the highest quality support to the global SuF analytical community.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or relevant experience in an administrative or operational position.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity working with databases.
  • English language fluency.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
