Job Description:

A multi-manager hedge fund is looking to hire an operations analyst to cover front-to-back operations / trader assistant tasks for a specific investment pod.

The role, working alongside a more senior operations analyst, supports a high-volume investment team. Responsibilities include dealing with ad-hoc requests for the Portfolio Manager and Traders, trade bookings, trade capture, P&L analysis, reconciliations, managing fail trades, settlement issues, and P&L breaks. The firm has invested heavily in technology, automating many processes, which makes work more analytical and less manual. This role offers broad responsibilities, high visibility, and autonomy at a leading hedge fund.

Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in hedge fund operations or IB trade support. The client prefers candidates with strong academic backgrounds and advanced technical skills.

The position offers a salary of £55-65k, with top performers earning bonuses up to 50%.
