Salary: £45,000 base + bonus

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join a leading commodities firm as an Operations Clearing Analyst. This role sits within the metals team and offers hands-on exposure to the full post-trade lifecycle in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day clearing and settlements activity within the metals operations function
  • Ensure timely and accurate trade matching, confirmations, and reconciliations
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, counterparties, and clearinghouses to resolve trade discrepancies
  • Monitor and manage trade flow through to settlement, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Contribute to process improvements and support project work where needed

What We're Looking For

  • 1–5 years of operations experience in financial services
  • Experience in clearing or settlements essential
  • Exposure to commodities (especially metals) is highly preferred
  • A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
