We are a rapidly growing organization with offices in London and New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for either a recent graduate or an early-career professional to gain exposure to Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs). Working closely with experienced credit fund managers, you will play a key role in trade settlement, portfolio reporting, and other operational and reporting processes.

The Role:

You will be a vital member of a small, highly experienced team with exposure to CLO operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all trades for the relevant portfolio manager are reported and settled on a timely basis.
  • External trade reporting and periodic reconciliation to data repositories
  • Daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and trades across internal and external trade/portfolio management systems.
  • Collaborating with third-party partners including trustees, fund administrators, and corporate service providers.
  • Maintaining the portfolio management system, including data integrity and data feeds.
  • Participating in the ongoing development and enhancement of portfolio reporting, monitoring systems and databases.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Potential to get involved with elements of Fund/NAV accounting

Requirements:

We welcome candidates who:

  • Have a strong academic background; a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Have strong Excel skills; experience with VBA or Python is a plus.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Have a strong work ethic, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take responsibility and see tasks through to completion.
  • Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have up to 3 years of relevant experience

What We Offer:

  • A high level of responsibility and the opportunity to develop quickly within a high-performing team.
  • Tailored training and mentorship to build expertise in CLO operations and portfolio reporting.
  • Exposure to the operational workings of CLO portfolios.
  • Involvement in continuous system and process enhancements.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment that values initiative, diligence, and ownership.

Fair Oaks believes passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our success. We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.
