Job summary

Marlin Selection Recruitment is seeking an Operations Analyst for a leading commodity trading firm in London. The role focuses on affirming trades, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating amendments with traders and support teams.

You will also maintain static and reference data in the ETRM system. The ideal candidate has knowledge of energy market operations and the full trade lifecycle, plus the ability to collaborate across levels of the organisation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Operations within Energy Markets.
• Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, amendments, contract management, and settlements.
• Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in regulatory reporting would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trades are accurately affirmed, investigating and resolving discrepancies while escalating issues where necessary.
• Collaborate with traders and supporting teams to process trade amendments, ensuring all changes are properly reviewed and authorised.
• Maintain and manage static and reference data within the ETRM system.
